i love the x factor but i loved the format to pop idol and i liked the jugdes and i just like the whole feel of it and it actually seemed like a battle unlike x factor where it's like sob stories and it's all just karokie. if pop idol was still on which one would u audition for?

I think that's a great idea. Seeing as an over 25 or a group i unlikely to ever win; I think they should go back to the Pop Idol format, but say raise the age limit to 35 or something.

I prefer the X Factor, but I agree with the point GiRTh made, I think it would be better if the groups and over 25s had a chance to win.

I prefer The X Factor, I like the drama it creates. I had a problem with Pop Idol and that problem is that you don't get to know the acts very well in the earlier stages because the live shows start immediately after the auditions (well the mini live shows, if you've watched it you'll know what I mean). Pop Idol is also restricted to one genre, doesn't allow in anyone over the age of 24 and there is no space for groups.
