Leon says he's a lager monster

LEON JACKSON has set his sights on being crowned Bizarre Caner of the Year 2008.

The X Factor winner is barely old enough to drink but happily confessed that he is a lager monster with a taste for vodka Red Bull.

The Scot has even sampled the devil’s brew, Buckfast - the drink of choice for an army of Scottish troublemakers.

I took the singer for a some haggis and a glass of Irn Bru to help him feel at home at the plush Boisdale Scottish restaurant in Belgravia, London.

And after a night on the lash at the X Factor wrap party - and a little white lie about behaving himself at the bash - Leon coughed about his thirst for an ale.

He said: “I’m not shy of nipping to the corner shop to get myself a cheeky half bottle of Buckfast.

“I like to drink my beer but if it’s not going down well I like some vodka Red Bull. It gets me steaming then keeps me going through the rest of the night.”

Leon is still timid and terrified to step out of line and suffer SIMON COWELL’s wrath. But I reckon he’s a character waiting to burst out of his shell.

And if he chooses not to toe the party line he’s sure to make his mark.

He won the public over in Saturday’s final and Leon’s mentor DANNII MINOGUE would not hesitate to devour him in bed if only he was a few years older.

He added of her sister - who joined him for a duet on Saturday:

“That was some outfit KYLIE was wearing on Saturday.

“I had to concentrate on the duet but it’s not easy when she’s in front of you in lace undies.

“I’d probably chat Dannii up first - she’s the younger of the two.”

Leon shouldn’t worry about being intimidated by anyone - lapdancing fan Dannii included - after landing a karate black belt aged just ten.
