On the application form for BB9 it states that applicants must be 18 by June 1st 2008.

So I'm guessing that it will not be starting until June.

Thats what I thought but it at least confirms that its going to be AFTER June 1st the show starts.

I'd say they are going to cut way back on BB this summer. C4 doesnt seem too interested in it any more.

If the Applicants must be 18 by June the first I'd say the actuall show would start about a week later. I don't know. 6 - 7th June?

Also, I'd say not to expect daily episodes or as many spin offs this summer.

Well June 1st is actually a Sunday I believe so it won't actually launch on that day, but saying that the housemates have to be 18 by June 1st means that the series won't be starting until that date or after. It will most likely launch on 4th or 5th of June.

Because the auditions are so early this year, they don't have a clue what the launch date will be at the moment, so I suppose this is just a rough guess.

They could push it further forward by a few days, or push it further back. Or 1st June could be the launch night. If it's true that evictions for BBCH are moving to Thursday and Sunday, then a SUnday launch would make sense if the eviction night IS moved following it's success this January.

NO every ones got this wrong think about Jennie from BB7 she wasn't 18 until after the launch date so big brother brought her in halfway through

If any thing the show will be starting early as all of the channel 4 imports will run dry by around April because of the writers strike

I wouldn't be surprised if the launch was the 31st May again, or the 24th. Celebrity Hijack shows they favour Thursday launch over Wednesday launch.

I really doubt they will launch it in June.
