Default Would you want BB9 to be the last

to be honest with you next year i think Big Brother should switch to self destruct mode and give us and amazing series even if there is a chance it could get cancelled.

id rather have 1 amazing series and big brother gets cancelled on a high (with the likely possibility that it will come back in 10 years time) than 5 crap series and therefore gets cancelled.

does anyone agree.

Nope.

And I doubt it will be cancelled either: Channel 4 have renewed their biggest money-spinner through until 2010...

what I'm trying to say is BB5 was put on self destruct mode because of BB4 and it was the best series ever and after the race row BB8 was played safe and look how that turned out

nope, and it won't be

It'll stay on C4 til 2010. Then, if it's unsuccessful will move to E4 for a few series.

Then maybe, just maybe, it'll be axed.

no way should it be cancelled. its my favourite show and alot of other people's too. plus channel 4 get loads of money from it so they won't cancel it for a while. i hope it gets renewed further than 2010 so i might get a chance to go on it. *prays* lol

No what should happen is they should do BB9 and then BB10 should be an Allstar series with 20 of the best housemates coming back to play the game again for a grand prize of £1 million.

Then they should enter a new phase of Big Brother, starting with BB11 they should totally re-invent the show, re-market it and just give it a brand new format. That way the show still survives and remains current.

So if a housemate walked in to the bedroom with a knife and killed all of his fellow contestant it will still be on air

OK u believe that

Well I think that would be very unlikely because the housemate would show signs in the house that they was going to kill someone, so the stabbing could be prevented and also housemates have to take so many tests before going into the house so I doubt they would even get in the house.

BB has survived the racism in CBB5 so it could probably survive a stabbing

Racism and stabbing are not the same, stabbing someone is 10x worse. That's kind of crazy to think that if someone got stabbed on the show, that everything would be fine the next year, like no one got hurt. I don't think it would happen. I think it'd be time to end BB then..
I think BB should end soon anyway, but that's just what i think.

Somebody got kicked out of the house in BBUSA during Season 2 for putting a knife to a girls throat while they were kissing, they were both drunk and he said "What would happen if I killed you?" or something like that, they both were laughing but it was very weird. Anyway he was booted out during the night.

Of course not !!! It shouldn't be the last because I know C4 has more potential to offer. And BB will be on until 2010.

BB will be on until 2010. Then I think they should call it a day. They could keep reinventing the show again and again and again and it could continue to be popular, but I think people will get fed up of it eventually.

I agree with whoever said it will move to E4 for a couple of series. It won't be dropped from Channel 4 straight away.

No way! Big Brother IS a great programme, it's just the format. BB9 should be daring, new rules, a house we couldn't think of, something really different.

I think in the Star they said that BB11 would be a series with all the winners coming back and a few celebrities or some other crappy idea.

My idea is different, BB10 should be the 20 most entertaining housemates coming back (not just the winners) and then after that BB11 should be a totally different format to all the past series.
