Emily\'s big Hope for Leon
Quote:
Emily's big Hope for Leon X FACTOR contestant Emily Biggs denied a romance with Leon tonight – but then made a telling slip of the tongue.
“There’s no romance but I’m pleased he won,” said the Hope singer at the London premiere for I Am Legend.
“He wanted to do it for his Mum. We spoke yesterday and he’s over the moon.”
When asked about Rhydian's career, however, Emily blundered; “Leon – I mean Rhydian – will be fine.”
The girl band, who sang All I Want for Christmas in the Foyer of the Odeon Leicester Square, refused to be drawn on the vote fixing row.
“We don’t know anything about it,” said Raquelle.
“But talk of rigging is a bit rough on us because we were in the bottom two loads of times and got through.”
Will Smith, who plays the role of the last man on earth in the aftermath of a deadly virus, spent half an hour joking with fans and shaking hands in the freezing temperature.
Looking sharp in a Balstaff suit, he revealed how he would choose to spend his last day on earth.
“If I knew there was 24 hours to the apocalypse, I would definitely want nothing more than to spend it with my family,” he said.
And he revealed that he will not be following the current Hollywood exodus to the West End stage.
“I have thought about theatre,” he said. “But I don’t have the ego or the arrogance to think I could adapt easily.”
Teatro and X Factor finalist Alisha were among the other celebrities on the red carpet at the event and Simon Webbe turned up with a new Mohican haircut.
“I wasn’t doing much except recording my new album,” he told us. “Then my hairstylist suggested it so I thought I’d give it a try.”
And he revealed who rules the roost in his household – 11-year-old daughter, Alanah.
“My little girl is in charge on Christmas day so we’re going to her Nan’s house,” he said. “Actually she’s always been in charge.”
