Louis Walsh has the veX Factor

X FACTOR judge Louis Walsh has hit out at the ITV1 show - slamming the contestants and calling Simon Cowell and Dannii Minogue Sonny and Cher.

He said of the fourth series: “I got fed up. It’s a talent show but the standard wasn’t as good as last series.”

He said there were two camps: Simon and Dannii - with lots of “yes” people around them - and him and Sharon.

“Sharon and I call them Sonny and Cher,” he added.

Louis, left, labelled Dannii fake adding: “I don’t think the public are behind her in the same way they are Kylie.”

His remarks are sure to enrage Simon. But speaking in Heat mag yesterday, Louis said he “couldn’t care less” if Cowell sacked him.

Louis Walsh has admitted that he was disappointed with the latest series of The X Factor.

The judge revealed that he did not enjoy his time on the show this year and "couldn't care less" if Simon Cowell decides to sack him again.

"I got fed up," Walsh told Heat magazine. "It's a talent show but the standard wasn't as good as last series."

Walsh admitted that the judges had split into two camps over the course of the series, with Sharon Osbourne and himself on one side, and Cowell and new girl Dannii Minogue on the other.

"Sharon and I call them Sonny and Cher," he said.

Louis also insisted that Dannii had not made herself popular with the show's viewers: "I don't think the public are behind her in the same way they are Kylie.
