Strictly Come Dancing pro Vincent Simone was cheering on girlfriend Flavia Cacace’s OPPONENT during last night’s final – because he’s furious at her flirting with partner Matt Di Angelo.

Flavia and Matt’s relationship has been the subject of intense speculation throughout the series, with the Eastenders’ actor’s admission he fancies her simply confirming the pair’s great chemistry together.

Flavia’s boyfriend Vincent – who bombed out in week two of the competition – has been so incensed by the pair’s closeness he was cheering on rivals Alesha Dixon and Matthew Cutler in last night’s final.

The News Of The World quotes Vincent as saying, “I adore Flavia but I would love to see it go wrong for Matt.

“What has been so annoying for me is that he could have quashed all this nonsense about him and Flavia.

"But he deliberately played up to it to win more votes. The producers of the show love their romance as well and did stupid things like the flirt-o-meter.

"Didn't they realise they were dealing with real relationships here?”

When Matt was asked whether he would continue seeing Flavia after losing the final he just laughed and said, “We’ll see!”

According to some reports today though, Matt has apparently been ‘seeing’ winner Alesha Dixon and is now torn between her and Flavia – but, frankly, we’re not so sure about that one….

It would be a very difficult choice though wouldn't it - a bit like when Dr Karl Kennedy had to chose between Susan and Sarah on Neighbours.
