Default What should the BB9 house be like?

What do you think needs to be done to the house to make it the perfect Big Brother house in the summer?

I think they should get away from the random, round, colourful theme they have going at the moment. I think they should make it like the Celebrity Big Brother 4 house. They should make it modern, lots of silver and transparency throughout the house, with more oppurtunity for secret rooms. I think it should feature lots of glass! Glass doors, walls, worktops, floors, diary room chair! I think that would be my ideal BB9 house!

I think a simple but well designed house should be used, like the BB5 and BB6 ones. I don't really think the house should have an obvious "theme" like it has in BB7 and BB8.

I want a beautiful house for BB9 which is luxurious and chic. It needs a wow factor. I don't really think making it an uncomfortable environment for the housemates is important anymore more because it never seems to noticably bother them (cooker being in bedroom didn't have much of an effect).

The garden needs to be fantastic, and a lot larger than BB8.

I hope they wont be stupid enough with the "things where they not suppose to be" theme, its getting really boring now.

I think modern design, different from the other houses.

something like the BB6 house with the lounge as a kind of island from house, something similar to that, and BB7.

I think they should go back to the more modern, homely feel. The novelty factor has been pushed way past it's limit - It was good in BB5 but now it's just stupid.

I'd like to see a house similer to BB3/BB4. I'd also like the vestabule to go, it just gave the producers and excuse to do stupid, silly tasks.

Also, one secret room is enough. We don't need 5. Also, please, no HND, HWH ideas - They are soooo BB6. Another thing - No glass walls, please!

Dump the pool, get in the hot tub.

But most of all - Bring Back The Chickens!

I like the idea of having a house similar to the BB5 one. I also agree with you about the HND type twists, they are really predictable now and some new twist ideas need to be thought of. I don't expect the chickens will ever make a return due to pressure from pressure groups about how the housemates may treat the animals. The new house definatly needs to be more homely and maybe bigger. The housemates don't seem to mind the confined environments anymore.

I agree, we need something comfortable and big. If come the press release day, it says "The smallest house to date" or whatever, I really will go mad. We've had the "smallest house to date" for nearly 4 years! I'm sick of it!

I don't think the house should be terribly big. In my eyes, BB6/BB7 size is ideal.

The kooky "lets-stick-the-oven-in-the-bedroom!" ideas NEED to go. I'm sure there are other ways to make the house harder to live in without doing that kind of thing. They shouldn't do a vestibule again.

In terms of decor, stick with Patrick Watson as I think he is a great house designer. Don't be too extravagant with the glass walls.

No secret houses unless they are going to be part of a really good, really well thought-out twist that will keep us gripped...

i deffinatley think they need to move away from the whole 'smaller is better' attitude. We NEED a bigger house which is more open planned with the amount of space as bb3. it needs to be stylish and moddern with alot of natural light, chrome, galss and silver.. there also needs to be alot of indoor space for tasks (decent tasks that is !!!)
