Default Political correctness

What do you think of it ? Do you find it ridiculous or useful ?

Many politically correct expressions:

Mistake: inoperative statement.
Dead: metabolically different.
Blind: optically inconvenienced.
Lazy: motivationally deficient.

Ridiculous yeah....but punishable by life imprisonment ? It's a little bit strong.
Many persons use it in order not to descriminate people like womyn instead of women (they changed it because they didn't like the words "men" in it)

I know I know perhaps 25 years instead.

Joking apart I say that to indicate how strongly against the insanity of PC I am.......

We live in a society of babies that let themselves be hurt by words instead of being mature enough to brush them off and allow free speech to flourish.

I do agree. That language doesn't mean anything and finally we have some ridiculous speeches and texts or in some place, you are considered as a thread if you don't talk with PC expressions.

I am the most anti-PC person you will ever meet. I think it is completely pointless and undermines what little free speech we already have

Political correctness, as Tom said, is completely pointless.

I never go out my way to offend anyone, but I think the whole concept is utter nonsense.

Il just go with the motivationally deficient route on his one and quote the great Bill Hicks...

''Life is just a ride''...

How would you feel about me starting a thread with the title along the lines of......I hate Jay i wish we could vote the Queer,Black ****** out! Ok or should it be edited/censored?How do you think Black and/or gay members of the forum would feel.Don't get me wrong,i believe in freedom of speach,to an extent but there most be some rules.

Someone calling me a Rapist because i'm a man?Aye,i would have a BIG problem with that.

I guess we could debate all night on this and never agree.
I will add it's a shame only Debate was around in the 30's and not censorship,it would've saved a lot of grief and aggro.

I don't want it both ways, never said I did. Do read what I say properly.

I said whilst I have a problem with certain aspects of speech, I would not call to censor them, I would debate them.

You fail to see my point, not to mention your failure to recognise yourself as someone who wants to limit our freedoms, instead of expanding them.
But if i started my post like how i said then i don't want the words i used debated i want Jay debated. So you would have to accept those words and Debate Jay.Or have censorship. You can't have it both ways.

I'd rather read the Voice of Freedom (the BNP's newspaper). I absolutely detest the Sun.

I am against censorship, so I believe we all have the right to our opinions, and the right to make them public if the case warrents it (i.e. public debate).

Does this make my stance that bit clearer?
Crystal clear.

It was this sentence that made it un-clear.
