The floods in June were devostasting for many people, and now as the weather turns, we are battling with the rain again.

Did anyone get flooded last time, and or are at risk this time round.??
Do you think the goverment are taking control ofthe situation well?

I got flooded back in 2000 and 2001, we were even on the news!

Good for getting on the news. Not good for the actual flood though.

The first time it was just our land, but the second time it was the house aswell, and it was over christmas. I suspect it was only on the local news though, as it was only a few houses.

Our area has always been known to have floods... and I've always asked mysef 'why'?? I'd never seen so much as a big puddle here, but now I know why.

For ages now, all we've had is rain... and like two days ago, the drains started overflowing and water was bubbling out onto the street... our entire road is like a little stream now, so it's kinda cool. But if we get more rain, it could get even worse.

I'm not really worried because it won't get as bad as some people had it... but I think what's happening now with the floods is terrible. People had to move out because of them, just moved back in and it happened again!! :O

I'm in South Wales, we were flooded for 2 days. Not stranded like, but the pavements and everywhere was deep in water. Nothing serious though. Although, I had to walk to work because no bus's could get through

The last flood where I live was in 1944 and it reached about 10 feet up the side of the houses

and with that ^^^^ I almost got flooded yesterday

The river or brook or whatever it was was about 6 inches from coming over and the back garden was underwater but the house is higher than the back garden is.

Well if local government, not central government but local government will keep letting land developers build on flood planes what do you expect?

They are called flood planes for a reason
