Default The House

What changes shold be made?

I think it should be made less simple
BB5's layout was interesting with the bedroom being seperate
BB6's was interesting with the loft and the seperate lounge
BB7's was amazing because it looked complex
BB8's was bad because everything was as it should be (house in one, garden out back with no interesting features)

Problem with being simple is, that you mentioned liking probably the two best UK houses yet and thay were far off simple, with diffirent layouts, split levels, new places to hide and interesting carpets walls and lots of colours and designer furniture.

The BB8 house, however, in a way was very normal, standard boxy layout, standard living area, a boring bathroom and a simple blue garden. So I think we should stary far of the simple styles and produce another stunning house for BB9!

Thats what I thought, this house needs to be different, very different, as I think the house can make or break a seires

I liked the "square" theme in BB8 but I miss the layouts from BB5 and BB6. It would be awesome if we can get the bedroom outside.
And I still think we should get a 2 floors house with the diary room, the store and the task room upstairs.

I think it would be cool if the house was spread through 3 areas

-Enterance/lounge
-garden
-Kitchen
-smaller garden with Hot tub
-Bedroom

We need a really interesting house this year. Something which is very BB5 in terms of the layout - but the decoration should be different so its not just copying off BB5. Like everyone else, I'd love to have an upstairs area, maybe for the diary room for more privacy and if there was some kind of balcony overlooking the house it would be good - if say there was a little snug there.

Like Matt said, it was great when the bedroom was outside, so maybe something like the kitchen being outside would be interesting - but the only niggle is if the housemates have to stay in the house they wouldn't be able to eat or drink.... starvation task anyone?

That would depend if they have a change of format

If its the gameplay format then the house should have secret room for the housmeates to find on them selfs

As long as it's a good theme. The inside out theme was a flop, and the "everything not where it should be" one was hardly a genius idea!

I think the kitchen in a seperate room accessed via the garden is a good idea. The bedroom being upstairs is another good one.

I dont like the idea of a kitchen in a seperate area or an upstairs diary room, and It would be impossible too have a large upstairs area, such as a bedroom. I'd say you would get a max of 8 people up there, so I guess it wiould have too go back too the old days of several bedrooms.

It would be perverted- but it would be great. To get up to there should be a spiral staircase in the middle of the sofas.

An upstairs would be cool, but unless they lifted the rough a few feet, they wouldn't fit mutch up there.

Already spoken to them about this, apparantly they can't because the house is small what with being in a water tank.

I'd love a massive house lol. BB3 was the biggest to date I believe (I may be wrong) and that used 95% of the house, so massive is out of the question, but larger is a possibility.

The kitchen should definalty be in the garden this year. That would be interesting. Maybe the housemates enter the house via the garden, and have the living room in one corner, bedroom in another, the kitchen thrown in somewhere. The diary room could be a glass box smack bang in the middle of the lawn lol
