POSITIVE: Lisa Jeynes refuses to be bitter - even after being 'fed to the media lions'
PENARTH'S pretty Big Brother celebrity is hitting back at the "gutter press" still trying to drag her name through the mud.
Lisa Jeynes says she is sick of tabloids gunning for her by not getting their facts straight. She spoke to the Penarth Times exclusively about getting her life back on track after the reality TV show.
She said: "Last Friday, the Daily Sport and the Welsh Daily Star reported that I had been spotted sneaking into Big Brother 5 auditions, and that security asked me to leave.
"If they'd bothered to check, they would have found I was doing a publicity stunt for Red Dragon Radio.
"They dragged out old pictures, and then 'broke' the news I'd had a nose job. I've even done a documentary on my plastic surgery!"
Lisa, 36, was appalled when she saw footage of herself. She added: "It hurt me. The producers trained me to stir things up before I went into the house, and then fed me to the lions.
"I was cut off from the outside world for 48 hours before the day, and that's when the allegation was leaked that I was transsexual. When I said I had balls to come into the show late, I had no idea it would ignite such a media inferno."
But the former model refused to let the bad publicity embitter her. She added: "The horrendous things written in the tabloids left psychological scars - I had nightmares, thinking my house was bugged with hidden cameras and microphones.
"But I won't stop getting myself out there and being seen. I've slimmed down, toned up and I feel great.
"While the pressure broke me and my boyfriend, Marcus, up for a while, we're back together and stronger than ever. Already I've done more than all the housemates from BB4 put together. If I had to do it all over again, I would. Only this time, I wouldn't be so naive."
