Wasn't the first 5 minutes Julie Chen's introduction? Way to base an opinion on a one hour show!

I could tell it was going to be crap after the 1st 5 mins. I half watched the rest of it and found it pretty crap. Didn't really like or relate to any of the housemates. Just found them irritating and whiney from the very moment they appeared on screen.

And what was with all the arguments on day 1? Must be a right set of ***** to be at each others throats so fast. What was with that guy calling one of the other guys a 'snake'?! Why would you say that about someone you hardly knew? Bullshit...

I forced my self to watch it on e4+1 in the end. Nothing special, just like an american gameshow(if you get what i mean.) Its more off a turn off than a switch on.
Really not interesting, shall not be watching. Roll on BB9 Uk!
I don't get why a few members are so excited about the whole thing?

Yeah, I think the UK one is more of an event. The US one seems like just another one of their stupid game shows.

It wasn't the first day, the highlights were from the past four days (they moved into the house the previous Friday and this show was from Tuesday).

He called him a snake because this is what BBUSA is all about, he tried to stir the pot and get people against Parker because he knows Parker is a strong player (he won the first comp), so Jacob wanted Parker out of the house. Obviously it was a dumb move to tell Jen this seeing as she is Parker's partner!

Ok.

I just find everything too manic and OTT. It’s like watching a pantomime...

Some members just watch Big Brother. Lots. All year round. Non stop. I personally like to keep it to just the UK series and not go overboard so as to make it fresh each time but each to their own I guess.

Thats exaclty the same as me, i just want to look forward to another series of bbuk and get excited about the new concept of a new house/new series. If i did watch it most of the time i wouldn't feel as exciteed about our version.

Plus half the reason I like BBUK so much is because of the kickass techno presentation , which not all the other versions have.

I think the US version is too different to spoil anything and from what I've seen, not nearly as good either- just my opinion.

i watched the 2 shows and the US version is too different to the UK version for it to spoil it for me
it was too much like any other US reality gameshow didnt really stand out for me but its something to watch i suppose! so i will carry on watching it

One thing that annoys me about BBUS is the music playing over it every 5 seconds.

It's more like a soap imo.

But so far, so good.

I like how our housemates are much more out there than theres. But there are good qualities about BBUS. Is there a BB voice or is it just always Julie?

I think that BBUSA isn't bad at all, I prefer BBUK but BBUSA ain't bad at all I think, I think at times it's more exciting to watch as you know the public can't vote out the interesting housemates.

From now on I'm just going to stick to the UK series's too. I thought that all BBUS would have been like season 8... wrong! :P
