Default \'Golden Cage\' will close after 608 days

'De Gouden Kooi', or 'The Golden Cage', is a reality TV show created by the same people who gave us Big Brother.

The show had young rich people living inside a multi-million mansion. The guests were watched 24/7, just like BB. The guest could leave at any time, and thier were no evictions.
The last person standing would win the house as their prize.

On Thursday 22nd May, De Gouden Kooi will end after a whopping 608 days.

This will make it one of the longest running non-stop reality TV shows ever (After 'Dom 2' which has been running non-stop for over 2000 days.).

At the moment, just 5 guests remain, with only one of them (Brian Kubatz) enterting on Day 1.

I think the public will decide but during the whole game the public didn't evict them. An eviction was taking place only if the decision was unanimous.

Cool, never heard of this. Be funnier if they didn't have an end date. Then again, you'd probably still have a couple of people living there in a few years if there wasn't!

Dear god! How the hell could a reality TV show run for that long?

Dom2 was just huge in Russia but it's one of the most controversial show too in the russian TV history, I'm amazed they didn't cancel it. So I think that, if it works then they should continue, for russian people it's a new type of show you know, things like Big Brother so I'm not surprised they were addicted to it.
