Default Australian Paedo Deported To Britain - Your Thoughts?

I opened a Newspaper today and found this story about Raymond Horne, the Australian Paedophile who's been dumped on us by Australia. I then read he's apparently "going to be living in London" which is even more frightening - god forbid he moves anywhere near me. No one deserves to live near him.

What are your opinions on this story?

I find it shocking that he was 21 when he was first convicted of child sex offences.

Well the guy is a repeat sex offedender, so he shouldn't even be allowed out of prison. It's no use just having him on the sex offenders list as he's not even going to be tracked close enough to stop him committing further crimes.

Sure its bad, but this is a pyscological problem, so I dont agree with branding or death sentences. He should seek help and be kept under supervision at a specially built home, not deported elsewhere so AU can forget about him.

I would happily kill him, he deserves it. I think all of them should be killed in the most painful way possible.

He's not actually Australian, as he's never applied to become an Australian citizen. He left Britain at the age of 5 and is still a British citizen. That's the only reason the Australian government could deport him back.

If we had an Australian citizen here who was a repeat sex offender then we would want him deporting. Thats all they have done so I don't think theres anything wrong with it. He, however, needs locking up forever.

Well he's lived there for forty-so years, so naturally you'd call him Australian, even if he "technically" isn't.

But still, turn the tables. An Australian who is still an Australian citizen despite living here for 40+ years is a serial sex offender. Should he be sent home or kept in Britain?

Thats how I view it anyway.

It has worked in their favour, hasn't it. There problem has now been forced upon us due to a technicality in the law. Very sad indeed.

We can't really say it was wrong to dump him on the UK when the UK would happily dump an Australian born paedo on Australia

Rules of engagement were followed by both governments and law enforcement bodies.

This is how our system works

Get over it

Castrate him. Latest studies show that this 'disease' cannot be effectively treated so, it's inevitable that he will re-offend. Just image the fuss and uproar when he does.

Girth's got a point, plus anyone who could do something that vile to a child deserves it.

But he's a known offender. I dont see any point in waiting for the crime to happen.

That's not the point. He is a British citizen, which is why he is here. I can understand why he has been brought here, and if it was an Australian national who had lived here for 40 years, we would probably do the same thing.

He shouldn't be out of prison though - ever. While I cannot condone a justice system that encourages violent or death as punishment, I do believe that this man will always be a danger, and therefore should always be locked up.

I can't understand how being a British citizen lead them to think that moving him back over here, somehow solves the problem...

Australia were just happy to get rid of him by any means possible.
But as for us/the UK, im not sure what we were thinking there.

I also wouldn't be surprised if when he does re-offend, he suddenly becomes one of the many paedophiles convicted that we don't hear about..and it's all kept rather quiet.

I think thats probably pretty easy to say when it isnt a family member of yours thats been molestered by some dirty c##t.

Hang him, shoot him, drown him. He has sexual tendencies towards young girls and therefore the only way to minimalise another person being molestered is to dispose of his body.
