Default School Dinners or Packed Lunches?

Which did you have in the golden days of primary school?

Packed lunches FTW.

Packed lunches! I hated school dinners. I always used to be the envy of the pack lunch room because my mum made the most awesome packed lunch. I loved my Jurassic Park themed lunchbox, complete with flask.

The few time I have been in English colleges I couldn't stand the school dinner. Everyday, the mother of the family I was in cooked packed launches and they are delicious.

Packed lunch. During all the 7 yrs at Primary school I only ever had about 2 school dinners (Both in my first week and I hated both)

Since being at Secondary school I haven't had a packed lunch yet. The foods all soooo tastly and theres actaully a veriety of pretty much anything healthy/healthy-ish. Bascicly all junk food has been stripped from our school now (Vendling machines, slush puppies/tuck shops/chocolate/sweets/burgers/chips/fizzy drinks...) But I don't care really.

Anyway, theres a DaytoDay next to the school, a Moby Dick chip shop oppisite the Biggest Tesco in Northern Ireland about 5 mins walk away so meh :P

Packed lunch

I had a Power Rangers lunchbox

I still don't touch their dinners and I didn't in school either. I used to either starve myself or go to the chippy but in college the food is provided by some independent company not the LEA so its not the cheapest rubbish they can find.

In the winter it was a nice, hot dinner and the summer a nice, cool packed lunch.

Oh the good ole days of being patronised.

Hah, at primary school, I always had packed lunches. I had school dinners once and it was so digusting, I can remember it like yesterday, which is weird. I never had their dinners again.
