The finale of the second series of Skins drew 740,000 viewers to E4 last night.
The teen hit achieved the second biggest audience of its current run, with 4.65% of viewers tuning in at 10pm. Another 205,000 watched an hour later on E4+1. Overall the series has averaged 663,000 (4.3%). Audiences have been well above the channel's 153,000 (1.04%) slot average, but lower than the series one average of 822,000 (5.70%). During series two a huge 58.5% of viewers have been in the 16-34 age range. Among the multichannel competition, E4 was beaten only by the EastEnders repeat on BBC Three, which attracted 877,000 (4.77%). BBC Four had a good night with history documentary Stephen Fry and the Machine That Made Us drawing 596,000 (2.74%) at 9pm and movie In the Name of the Rose interesting 514,000 (4.17%) at 10pm.
