Brian McFadden: Kerry Katona is a disgusting human being

APPALLED Brian McFadden has finally lost patience with ex-wife Kerry Katona, calling her "disgusting" and "an embarrassment."

For nearly four years the Westlife singer has held his tongue over Kerry's drink and drugs antics for the sake of their little daughters Molly and Lilly-Sue.

But he contacted the News of the World in a fury after the former Atomic Kitten star cynically exploited their girls by dragging them into the row surrounding the premature birth of her fourth child Max.

She claimed Molly and Lilly-Sue's late return from a visit to Brian and partner Delta Goodrem in Australia had triggered the anxiety which brought on her labour.

This despite her taking cocaine, boozing, gorging on junk food and smoking 20 cigarettes a day throughout her pregnancy.

In an exclusive interview, Brian blasted: "Kerry is a disgusting human being.

Childish

"She manipulates people and plays the sympathy card for every stupid mistake she makes. Me and my family have been put through hell by her stupid games.

"She uses my two girls as a weapon in her childish games. She is an embarrassment to me, my family and my children."

Brian admitted he is terrified Molly, six, and Lilly-Sue, five, will see Kerry's wild lifestyle as normal.

He added: "We put them into as much of a routine as possible. But it breaks our heart when the kids quote back stuff they've heard from Kerry.

"‘Mummy has to go to the Priory because she's not feeling well'—things like that."

Brian said he knows his outburst will provoke a huge backlash from scheming Kerry—but says he wants everyone to know the truth.

Until now he had resisted the temptation to respond to the smears against him from Kerry's PR machine-which are always attributed to "friends." Those same "friends" were at it again with Kerry apparently fearing she would "never see her girls again" after they stayed on for a few days extra with Brian's mum Mairead.

Molly and Lilly-Sue had taken an Easter holiday trip with their gran to visit Brian Down Under, where he lives with pop beauty Delta, 23.

They were due back at the Warrington home Kerry, 27, shares with new husband Mark Croft on March 30.

Kerry was furious when she got a call to say the girls were instead going to spend a few days in Dublin with Mairead and her husband Brendan and be returned on April 3.

The children were back with their mum a week before she went into labour with Max five weeks early.

But Kerry, who incredibly is still the face of the Iceland TV ads, used the delay as the excuse for the premature birth rather than her coke-addled lifestyle.

Silence

Mairead kept a dignified silence over the affair.

She adores the girls as if they were her own daughters and fears for their safety whenever they are back with Kerry and former cabbie Croft, 37.

But Brendan spoke of his dismay over the way Kerry had twisted the situation to paint herself as the victim.

He said: "Kerry's got a big mouth on her."

Referring to the fly-on-the-wall MTV show Crazy In Love which is following Kerry and Mark's lives, he added: "If you watch her programme, you will know what she's like.

"That's the way she is. That's the way we know her."

It's not the first time spiteful Kerry, who also has a daughter Heidi by Croft, has had a pop at Brian's mum.

She set her solicitor on Mairead last year because she allowed the girls to visit Kerry's estranged mother Sue.

The devoted gran hopes to help Brian care for the girls if he wins custody of them in an ongoing legal battle.

Brian also joked he could never accept a present from his daughters in case Kerry or Mark had tampered with it, joking: "It would probably have anthrax in it."
