Jade Goody gets up close and personal with another girl

Shy and retiring she certainly is not. And neither, so it appears, are her pals.

Wearing a strapless, white babydoll dress Jade Goody tumbled out of an Essex bar with a mystery pal on Saturday night roaring with laughter.

The former Big Brother contestant and her female companion, dressed in a metallic beaded shift, held hands before seeming to grapple and clinch each other.

At one point Goody was almost hoisted into the air as her bleach blonde friend held her rear in a tight embrace. Later on, she held Jade's head close to her in a firm grip.

As they left the club, which played host to footballers Robbie Savage, Kieron Dyer and Teddy Sheringham, the pair giggled and gave a cheeky wave from their taxi.

There was no sign of her sometime beau Jack Tweed - the pair were spotted going home together in a cab last week after partying together at Essex nightclub Faces.

Jade, 26, broke up with Jack last month after she told friends she could no longer cope with numerous allegations claiming he'd been unfaithful.

After numerous splits and reunions, Jade vowed then that it was for good.

He moved out of the £750,000 property they shared in Upshire, Essex, and back into his mother's home, and was quickly linked to fellow former Big Brother contestant Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace.

Jade, who was embroiled in the Celebrity Big Brother racism row with fellow contestant Shilpa Shetty in 2007, previously had a relationship with TV presenter Jeff Brazier, the father of her Bobby Jack, 4, and Freddie, 3.

She became a household name after her appearance on the reality TV show where she gained notoriety for thinking Cambridge was in London and that Saddam Hussein was a boxer.
