Default Amy Winehouse “excited” to be back in the studio

http://www.showbizspy.com/

Troubled Amy Winehouse says she’s “excited” to be back at work in the studio following her three Ivor Novello Award nominations.

The ‘Rehab’ star, 24, has won the prestigious award — which recognizes the best British songwriting and composing talent — before. She says she is looking forward to making a new album following a year plagued by substance-abuse battles and the incarceration of her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil.

“Winning Ivors for my songwriting have been some of the best moments in my music career,” says Amy. “I’m overwhelmed to be nominated three times, let alone twice in the same category.

“It’s come at a great time too. I’m excited to be back at work in the studio, enjoying songwriting and making music again.”

Amy has two entries in the in the best song musically and lyrically category with her hits ‘Love Is a Losing Game’ and ‘You Know I’m No Good.’ Her smash hit single ‘Rehab’ goes up against Beyoncé Knowles and Shakira’s ‘Beautiful Liar’ and Mika’s ‘Grace Kelly’ in the category for best-selling British song.
