ABBEY CLANCY had a night to forget at her boyfriend PETER CROUCH's boozy birthday bash yesterday evening.

The model ended up in tears after allegedly getting involved in a slanging match with former Big Brother contestant AISLEYNE HORGAN-WALLACE at The Valmont Club in Chelsea.

She later got annoyed with the lanky Liverpool striker and left the party via the back entrance of the club, jumping into a waiting taxi.

A fellow clubber told me: "Abbey was really drunk and stormed out into the smoking area in tears.

"Crouch also looked a bit worse for wear and followed her in an attempt to calm her down.

"Though she reacted badly and was not at all happy with the striker."

Abbey's friends were also overheard questioning her about a heated conversation she had with Aisleyne, that seemed to spark her rage.

And as the Big Brother star left the club, one of her pals shouted: "I can't believe Abbey Clancey was trying to *******ing start with you."

The Big Brother star left the club at 2am, just 20 minutes before Abbey and Peter called it a night.

Meanwhile, Peter's Liverpool teammate STEVE GERRARD's missus, ALEX CURRAN, was attending the Z-list party of the year - NIKKI GRAHAME's birthday at Embassy in Mayfair.

She was joined by the likes of ANDY and MICHELLE SCOTT-LEE and the new Miss UK, GEMMA GARRETT.

I bet Abbey wished she had gone along to that do instead...

ABBEY Clancy fled a club in tears after laying into a desperate Big Brother babe for making a play at boyfriend Peter Crouch.

Hell’s Kitchen beauty Abbey boiled over in a late-night bust-up with reality telly wannabe Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace.

She blasted the grasping blonde for trying to ruin a family birthday party by blatantly making a play for her lanky Liverpool and England striker.

At one stage during the row in London’s Valmont Club, a small private members club, onlookers claimed someone appeared to have been slapped.

After the clash a tearful looking Abbey stormed out of the club to “calm down”.

She returned to rejoin her party, which had been celebrating Crouch’s sister Sarah’s birthday. BB7 babe Aisleyne, 29, who once dated boxer Mike Tyson, 41, was all smiles as she left the Chelsea club with pals at 2am.

One of her friends was overheard shouting: “I can’t believe Abbey Clancy was trying to *******ing start with you.”

But friends of Abbey claim the 22-year-old, who found fame on Britain’s Next Top Model, got angry with Aisleyne for *constantly pestering her 6ft 7in boyfriend.

A close pal said: “It’s hardly surprising Abbey lost her cool, What girl wouldn’t when someone tries to tap off with your fella right in front of you?

“She’d had a few glasses of wine and got more angry with this girl. Abbey basically told her to sling her hook.

“Abbey was a little tearful but Peter went outside, gave her a cuddle and took her back inside.”

But Abbey laughed off reports that she also gave Crouch a slap.

And the pal said: “They didn’t have a row. Peter just tried to get her to calm down.”

Valmont manager Thierry Brocher added: “Peter wasn’t drunk or anything like that.

“It was obvious this Aisleyne was trying to stitch him up.

“I’ve not seen this Aisleyne girl here before and I don’t want her to come back.”

A Liverpool FC spokesman said the club had no comment other than to confirm Crouch had trained with his team-mates yesterday.

Crouch’s agents Stellar Management said: “We do not comment over the phone.” They also failed to respond to an email.

Aisleyne, who has formed an unlikely friendship with troubled Amy Winehouse, 24, was not taking any calls yesterday.
