Default background music

(This is my first post) Do you think we should have music playing during scenes in BBUK like BBUSA? I think it adds a lot of drama to dramatic scenes

No its so cheesy, so edited, it would take UK viewers ages to get used to it.

In a word, no.

Although, I like the idea a member of this froum suggested (Brekkie) - that once a week there should be a weekly highlights show which features important events of the week (not necessarily in chronological order) with background music and Diary Room voiceovers similarly to BBUSA. I don't think it would work in the main daily highlights, because the American audience is very different to the UK audience.

No it works well for BBUSA but it wouldn't work for BBUK.

Hell to the no !

BBUK is a daily show then I can't see what music you can play when a housemate is brushing their tooth or something.
As the US episodes are stages, music fits better since the producers decide what scenes they can show to make the drama better.

No way. The music is the worst thing about BBUSA, I love the format of BBUSA but it's production is corny. If you combined the BBUSA format with the BBUK style production you'd have a perfect series.

Although I do love the music that always played during the Will and Boogie scenes in Allstars.

The UK has tension music when Davina calls out who's gonna be evicted. And theres also music played when shes calling out nomination numbers, although I guess its not corny, cheezy music.
