Default Songs that deserved to chart higher

Could be recent or from the past but what songs that charted quite low that should have done much better?

I remember "Speed of Sound" by Coldplay was robbed of No#1 because of the Crazy Frog.

REM 'Losing My Religion' only reached number 19 in 1991. A scandal when you consider Hale and Pace and Vic Reeves had number 1s in the same year.

Most of my favourite songs are number 2s: Pump up the Jam, Gold, Valerie, Rule the world, Last Christmas. Fairytale of New York, Whenever wherever, From Paris to Berlin, SOS (Rihanna), Sweet escape, Chasing Pavements, Gypsy Woman, Moving on Up, Holding back the years, Christmas time (Don't let the bells end), All I want for christmas, Piece of me and so on

I agree with Darkenss- Christmas Time should have been no1.

Leona- Footprints in the Sand should have been no1

And I think at least ONE S Club 8 song should have made it to no1. They were legends

I would say 'Rule the World' by Take That deserved to be number 1,but 'Bleeding Love' definitely deserved it too, pity they were out at the same time.

Somewhere Only We Know by Keane in 2004, got to number 3, should've got number 1, same with Bedshaped, that reached 10, should've got higher imo.
