Yes, I've had a few experiences.

What I really hate is when the sceptics come along and try to give you explanations which are just unreasonable and far fetched (compared to the circumstances anyway) and they tell you to prove it. I think they should prove there isn't anything.

I do believe in ghosts, in a huge way.

I tend to find that people who say "they're not real" are people who a too scared to face up to the fact that there are things supernatural in this world.

No, because of Luke 16 (I will explain later)

As for sceptics, all they are asking you to do is a bit of critical thinking.

Before going of onto paranormal explanations, we should look for normal rational explanations first, as dictated by Occam's Rasor.

micro draughts, suggestion.

A room can feel cold because water in the brickwork is evaporating, and in order to get the energy for the latant heat of vaporisation it takes it from what ever is in the room. Basic simple physics.

Most people who believe in ghosts have no idea that their own mind is tricking them into believing in them. If you hear a sound , or see a light , and want to think it is a ghost , your mind will create the rest of the image and convince you its a ghost. Dont underestimate the power of the human brain!

Theirs just so many possible , better explanations for virtualy every ghost story that I simply cannot believe in them.

Not yet , anyway.

I do. But I'm not scared off them or anything. I have had an experience and I was curious more than frightened.

I believe in them (I'm convinced I've saw 3 before) and most of my extended family do to (And it's HUGE!) I'm also convinced a few of my family members are slightly physic and some are scarily interested.

My house is haunted and one of my aunts (and uncles and 2 cousins) live in the most haunted place in our area. They even have a handful of pics (I will try to post later)

I hate it when people try to prove me wrong, because I know what I see and it's really annoying. One of my mates tried to convince me out of believing ghosts after I saw on on a 1st year residential. The next year he ended up seeing one himself and hasn't tried to continue to convince me since :P

Anyway, ghosts I've saw:

Home (Regularly)- I always see a Victorian looking ghost in a black looking dress and a bun in her hair (Average of once a fortnight/every 3 weeks) My dad also saw this ghost before. To my shock I only found out this year and he saw it in 2000. We both had exact descriptions! I was so shocked!

1st year residential- Saw a ghost covered in a shoal come towards me. Face completely hidden. When I looked at it, it kept coming closer. I shouted to a friend to wake and like that it vanished! Never been so shaken in my life.

Various other experiences- During another residential in my last year of Primary school there were multiple games of 'Spin the bottle' and 'Levitation' and evil phrases said which I won't repeat. (One of the phrases resulted in a bulb going out and a tap turning on by itself. There were also rings and rituals carried out one night. Half our year that attended the trip watched. I watched all experiences. The other experience some other mates (I haven't/never will watch) was board games on Halloween night. I'd rather not repeat some extremely scary footage taken by mobile phone.

Thats all my experiences, however other family members/friends have had drunken-dog-walking-stumbles into satanism events, saw/felt/heard extremely strange things and have had some disturbing experiences.

I believe in them, I think I've seen one, might just be a figment of my imagination but i think I've seen my Nana once and my Grandma twice.

Wow Conor that sounds pretty scary, I do believe in spirits (not the alcoholic type)
I have used the Ouija board before with a couple of people and that is quite scary.

That's what I was thinking.

I don't. My current belief is that there is no such thing as the soul. There's bone and there's marrow. It's just biology. I'm not an extremist however. I don't disregard those who have had "experiences" or not believe them because at the end of the day, I could wake up tomorrow with a house full of ghosts, and I'm open to that idea. But like Morphues said, I do believe that most people subconsciously trick themselves into seeing those kind of things.
