Default One thing ~you~ would like to see in the house (in terms of the house itself, not housemates)?

If there was one thing you could put into the house this series what would it be?
It can be anything from something as small as an ornament to something as big as the house's structural qualities.
Explain why, also.

Personally, I would like to see a kind of obstacle course in the garden which had to be completed by any housemate that rule breaks. Bear in mind this would endure mud, rope swinging, wall-climbing etc, something to really remember. It also matches with 'war and order', the theme of this year's series.

Discuss.

Its been proven that uncomfortable living space does not equal good TV. So I would like a nice and big, roomy, spacious house.

PS
This thread's title is way too long!

i would like to see a transition back to two bedrooms, male and female, easier to see when something is going on between two HM's, if bb does not force them to share a bed its easier to see whats happening as they do not have to share a bed with HM's

Yep, two bedrooms - but one bigger than the other so they can't automatically divide themselves into male and female rooms.

A nice big open plan house is what I want, especially with a decent sized garden. What I want most sorted though is the front door situation so we don't have Big Brother butting in at the end of the eviction countdown to tell HMs to close the door.

Either like BB6 the HMs should be kept away from the front door, or like BB4 they should have sliding doors the HMs don't control themselves.

yes good idea brekkie like in BB7 they had to shut the living area door and it would lock before the evicted HM were allowed to open it.

i would like these features -
30cm high and 2 metre long beds - 10 singles and 2 doubles - no ridiculous 4 person beds
massive and colourful diary room chair - big enough for 15 hms
a gym - like in hijack
a bridge over some water leading to the entrance
no vestibule
only one secret room - make it properly secret - maybe hidden behind a wall in the gym???
excellent sound proofing for everywhere in the house
no jaccuzi - not summery enough
everything where it's meant to be - theme last year was ****
i think thats just about everything

Free Alcohol all day long with a bar, like in pub.

If not, an inside garden like in BB5/6 Belgium. Surrounded by a big glass wall a la BB6 with a open roof, a barbecue, a woody table and some plants. It would also be the only way to enter the diary room. Here is an example:

Also I would like to put the 'Big Brother supermarket' where the housemates will do shopping and will buy all their food and extra stuff like toothpaste etc...

Like so if theres 14 housemates one with 5 beds - all double and not very nice then one with 4 beds - all single all relaxing and nice. So they argue over who sleeps in the nice bedroom.

Lots of curves.
Bright and bold colours.
Strange angles and mirrors.
Lots of glass.
Heightened ceilings.
Somewhere housemates can escape to.
The BB6/7 external entrance.
Strange, new, bold and amazing furniture.
MASSIVE living space!

Few pics of some fav BB houses ever we should look back at:

Conor, I agree with all of them except the BB7 Germany one. Too much stuff, really messy feeling.

I wanna see comfort and cosiness. I hated BB8 house cos it was too clinical. I want a homely house. I also wanna see a separate lounge space to a living space. And the house as a whole needs to be large.

Definately think that's a good idea - and it also provides them with an open "smoking area" for when the main garden is out of bounds.
