Default My graduation!

I was going to do in the School/Collage thread but none of you seem to have graduation from school over there. So I thought I would just say how brilliant my day was yesterday and I have like a million pics. So and over here there is no 6th form or college(collage?).Its just school! Anyways yes.....

I got up at 6.20 and got ready and my dad drove me into school. I got there at about 7.15 and there was about 10 people wandering about because they locked us out of our common room because they thought we were gonna wreck the school(which we weren't).

So at about 7.30,we had breakfast with the teachers in the canteen and we were allowed out at about 8 to go run about. So we ran outside to go and get cars to shout at us and put some signs up. We had been allowed into the common room by that point.

So after getting beeped we wandered about a bit some more before we had assembley. By this point we had got our hoodies which were lime green with 'Survivors'(27+ people have left my year) down the arm and 08 on the front.

At assembley we were up on the balcony in the gym and threw bouncy balls at everyone sitting below. For assembley,we had our memories-1st-3rd year memories,1st-3rd year boarder memories,4th-6th year memories and 4th-6th year boarder memories. We had slideshows of pictures in between the memories, which I bawled at!

After assembley,we had random stuff to do,like the History wall

Then we had a rave in our common room with the 5th years which was BRILLIANT. We even got a few teachers to join in!

After that,we had rehearsals and then had to get ready for the ceremony

At the ceremony(which was REALLY emotional),there was speeches from the Head Girl,Deputy Head Girl,Principal and Head Girl's Dad. We all sang 'Don't Stop Me Now' and 'Goodbye'-Spice Girls. The music class sang 'Seasons of Love from Rent' and some people sang 'Falling Slowly'. Then we got our school rings.Oh and had a group hug! I cried throughout the ENTIRE thing.

After that was refreshements, then off home to get ready.

We had dinner with the teachers and then we went off to town! The DART journey was eventful to say the least.

By the time we got to town,I was knackered so I stayed in the club for about a hour and came home with a friend. Got home at 2 and went to bed.

Amazing,amazing day. I seriuosly can't believe I'm finished!

P.S.:Sorry about the essay!

Oh wow, looks like an exciting (and sad!) day. When we leave school over here we don't have anything like that, just a quick assembly to say bye, and a sad slideshow if we're lucky LOL.

Aww sounds and looks like you had a great time. I remember last year we had a leavers mass which was sad even though I was staying on and going to sixth form but next year is my final year and then I'm going to uni-which Im happy about but it should be sad.
So what exams do you have now?
