Default Auto-resize

I have been on a forum where they have pics if they are too big they a re-sized to fit the forum

Although that is Vbulletin is there a way to do the same for TiBB?

Something like this will work...

[img=500x300]http://urlofpic[/img]

...where 500x300 is the dimensions you want the picture to be.

It is best to use preview when resizing though, but please bear in mind, although the image is resized to be smaller than the original, it may still be massively huge. Something to bear in mind for those with limited bandwidth.

If you are putting an image on a site and then linking to it, you should resize a copy and upload the resized copy so you do not need to use the resizing trick James showed you.

Photobucket now allow people to edit their pictures
including size
