Because it hasn't fully loaded. You need to leave it for about 10 minutes or more depending on the legnth of the show.

I know you all probably know about these but just incase you didn't - here they are! Out of all of these 4od is probably the best because you can watch TV from years ago, whereas with the BBC iPlayer you can only watch the previous week.
