Default Pets possibly confirmed! Also housmate selection news!

Big Brother bosses want to send animals into the house.
According to news reports on the inter-net, show executive producer Phil Edgar-Jones said he was inspired by international versions of the show. He revealed that Big Brother chiefs from different countries gather at an annual convention to exchange ideas, in a huge BB-forum.

He explained: “The Belgians are the maddest. They sent tarantulas into the house and have shot darts into housemates’ bottoms.”

The boss also admitted that the new series will feature several celebrity wannabes, such as Chanelle Posh-Spice from last year’s series.

“Some people will want to be in there for the experience and some will definitely be on there chasing fame,” he commented. “The very first series of Big Brother was completely innocent of all that. We’re not here to deliberately sift out that type of person.”

However, Edgar-Jones promised that this year’s house would see an eclectic mix of housemates.

“What we’re trying to do is create a mix of people who would never normally share the same room together, would never go to the same club together,” he said.

Peeets!! I hope that's true!! Maybe not for the entire duration of the series, though....

Boo to the celebrity wannabes, though. We've had enough of them... on the other hand, you can't really have a Big Brother without its celebrity wannabes - I just hope we get some great personalities in there, too!!

Not sure about this and i dont reallly belive most of it exspecially “bringing Chanelle Posh-Spice from last year’s series.” i dont think producers would want that this year! but pets would be good - if true but probs not as their are rules in the uk about certain animals within the house!

Doesn't seem likely to me, what if someone is allergic to some of the animals, e.g Cat hair (also rabbit). I doubt this will happen.

I doubt it because there would be all sorts of problems.

The housemates would of probably been asked to put down what they are allergic to in the form before entering.

That's all we need. There's enough kiss and tell stories and ex's spilling the beans in the tabloids already, without poodles and labradors gettin in on the act as well!

Yes, but then they would potentially dismiss a fantastic HM for the sake of animals, nope, not going to happen, they want more views not less...
