I thought we could have a thread where we talk about the Live Feed when the show starts.

Does anyone once the live feed, like all day? And are the bird noices live from near the house just played over the chat, or are they pre-recorded. Also, why are the bird feeds played, couldn't they just bleep out swear words?

Sometimes theres some "adult" dicsussion thats goes on and bird noises sound nicer over the course of 45 seconds than a long beep, im not sure though.

It's not always swearing that happens its normally adult conversations, they also cover up when musics playing too.

The bird noises are also used for conversations that could be libellous.

The bird noises are provided by 6 purpose-breeded canaries called:
Teddy
Trixie
Bart
Endie
Polly-Anna
Indeva (who currently holds the rank of top tweeter and who's name is almost and anagram of Davina)

They have been professionally reared and trained for the task in hand and can "tweet" on command when required. The birds are split into 3 shifts of 2 birds with each shift completing an 8 hour "day".

The birds are sworn to secrecy and after they have completed 3 series of Big Brother they are retired and sent to the "Feathered Friends Bird Sanctuary" where they live a life of luxury with a plentiful supply of nuts and seeds.
