Default I can not believe I did what I did tonight

I made myself a cup of instant coffee instead of Camp coffee, filter coffee or espresso.

My standards must be slipping

The terms "instant" and coffee are an oxymoron to a true connoisseur.

In my defence, it was during a break and Camp coffee has sugar in it and I have just been diagnosed with impaired glucose tolerance

Oh and the jar happened to be at the front of the cupboard

It was Nescaffe

The lesser spotted coffee snob. It's natural habitat is the small independent coffee bar. There is one now, hiding behind a copy of the Guardian. They can also be seen in the supermarket isle looking down on the uneducated as they graze on the cheaper "instant" coffee's.

Back in their den, called a "home" you will find bookcases full of hard back books about the great philosophers that have not been read.

A strange quirk of the lesser spotted coffee snob is that despite their disdain for instant coffee and their protests to anyone that will listen, you will always find a jar of "instant" in the cupboard. Probably toward the front. Even though they never use it.

I prefer instant coffee to proper coffee, i just think it tastes better, much more flavour. Nescafe!

lol no need to be quite so ashamed though, we all lower our standards sometimes

Camp coffee, isnt that what they used to give us at school?
