Big Brother Housemates To Nominate For This Week’s Eviction

Big Brother will announce to the housemates that they must make their first nominations of the series today at approximately 4pm.

They will be given just half an hour to gather their nomination thoughts before they will be asked to congregate in the living room area. Once there, Big Brother will call each individual housemate to the Diary Room in alphabetical order.

Each housemate will be asked to nominate two other housemates for eviction this week and they are obliged to provide a reason for their choice.

Nomination Rules

· Any housemate refusing to make a nomination or failing to provide Big Brother with a satisfactory reason for their nomination will receive a formal warning.

· It is not permitted to discuss nominations or to try to influence anyone else’s nominations.

Results of the Nomination Process

· The Diary Room nominations will not be streamed on the website or E4 – the nominations will be broadcast on Tuesday at 7pm in E4’s Nominations Uncut.

· The results of the nominations process will be announced to the housemates on Tuesday and Channel 4 viewers will see their reactions in Wednesday’s 10pm highlights show.

· The housemates who receive the most eviction votes at this stage are then subject to the public vote, conducted via telephone and text message.

· Viewers and housemates will only find out who is to be evicted during Channel 4’s live Friday night 9pm show and the evicted housemate will leave during the 10pm show.

Interesting that the nominations won't be announced on E4 or the website streaming? Are people paying for the streaming again this year - I think I'd ask for my money back!!! Obvioulsy C4 have devised a cunning plan to increase the audience on E4 at 7pm!

Still, I bet we'll get some rumours circulating before tomorrow night.

That's been standard practice for the past couple of years, sometimes they 'forgot' to cut sound... last year it was more often than not, though.
