COVER your ears and run for cover, Big Brother's resident flop star wants a record deal when she leaves the house.

Sexy Scouse student Stephanie McMichael was kicked off Popstars: The Rivals, the show that gave us Girls Aloud, six years ago when she was thirteen for lying about her age.

She made it to the final 25 contestants but was given the boot when producers found out that she was actually under 16.

But now the wannabe, who says she's like 'Britney Spears in her heyday' is ready for round two.

When quizzed by fellow housemate Rachel Rice, 24, about why she was in the house Steph said: "I'm very upfront about it, I want fame. I want to do something in the public eye like modelling or something... I've done singing, I always wanted to be a singer but it's hard to break into, so maybe this could help."

The blonde 19-year-old now sings and plays guitar in a band called The Kinky Minks.

Let's hope it's better than Chanelle's dismal effort, and Samanda, and Nicola, and Craig, and ...

Better yet, let's hope the record labels see sense.
