Well apparently, someone can be gay for all sorts of reasons now, such as watching certain things on tv or taking certain drugs. And here was me thinking to be gay meant being attracted to your own sex! I am so behind the times...

What do you mean if they weren't out? If they had an ex, ie if Dale went out with another man or a few other men, I'd think it'd have come out by now. The papers go digging around their home area. It wouldn't make a differance if he'd come out to his family yet or whatever.
