Default Task Failure

Quote:
From: bigbrother.digitalspy.co.uk

"I've been sacked from just about every job I've ever had", said Emma on Big Brother's opening night. So the results of this week's "Big Bro's Food To Go" task will likely come as no surprise.

Housemates were allowed three infractions of the task's rules, which included getting the correct order delivered within half an hour cooked by housemates wearing the correct uniform. But, with a wide-eyed Michelle announcing after taking a telephone order that she'd forgotten everything in it, the signs didn't look good.

Big Brother used the house plasma screen to show the housemates the points they'd failed on. Amidst giggles and chewed fingernails, the screen showed one failure for lateness, six for incorrect uniforms and four incorrect orders - and announced that the housemates had failed their task.

Emma read out a laminate from Big Brother detailing what they could have won - a "privilege pass" which could have been redeemed for a choice of reward from a list including a champagne hamper, a garden waterslide and sports kit, or a jukebox.

But with RI:SE shut down and the market for film premieres and nightclub PA's saturated with nearly 50 other previous BB contestants, if they can't run a burger bar what WILL they do when they leave?

Here's a press release I received about this last night

HOUSEMATES FAIL THEIR WEEKLY TASK

The housemates have just found out that they have failed their weekly task. The task was to run a 24-hour fast food take away called “Big Bro – Food To Go!” They had to take food orders from Big Brother throughout the day and night over the phone and deliver the entire order to the diary room within 30 minutes. As a group they were allowed to deliver no more than three incomplete or late orders over the course of the task.

They failed the task as out of the twenty orders given by Big Brother since Sunday, 4 were delivered incorrectly and 1 was delivered late. In addition, on 6 occasions housemates did not wear a complete uniform while participating in the task – another infringement of the rules.

As a result they lost their chance to win a treat … but were told what they could have won. Their prize could have been one of the following: a hamper of food and champagne, a water slide and garden sports kit or a jukebox. On hearing the news the music starved housemates were most disappointed about missing out on the chance to have a jukebox in the house.
