Not the celebrity ones, but the summer shows. When was the last time no one knew was brought into the house mid-way through, or earlier?

It depends on how you look at it. If you count replacments as latecomers, there has been no series without latecomers. If you discount replacements, guests etc., BB5 was the last series without latecomers - or at least I think that's right.

Here's a series-by-series chart of latecomers (information from Wikipedia):

BB1:
- Claire entered on Day 37 as a replacement for Nasty Nick

BB2:
- Josh entered on Day 16 after winning a public vote to select a new housemate

BB3:
- Sophie replaced Sunita on Day 10 after she walked.
- Tim replaced Sandy on Day 24 after he escaped.

BB4:
- Gaetano from BB Africa was a guest in the house during the housemate swap with Cameron.
- Lisa entered the house on Day 30.

BB5:
- Becki entered on Day 30 as a replacement for Emma.

BB6:
- Eugene, Kinga and Orlaith entered the Secret Garden on Day 29.
- Kinga replaced Orlaith after she walked on Day 66.

BB7:
- Aisleyne and Sam entered as replacement housemates on Day 12.
- Susie entered on Day 23 after winning the Golden Ticket promotion.
- Jayne, Jennie, Jonathan, Michael and Spiral entered the House Next Door on Day 48.

BB8:
- Ziggy entered on Day 3.
- Seany and Gerry entered on Day 10.
- Billi, Brian, Jonathan and Liam entered on Day 17.
- Actress Thaila Zucchi entered the house under the alias of 'Pauline' on Day 40.

I'm turning off if they add more people, it's a pointless gimmick. If they didn't think they chose the right housemates initially (so they have to introduce new faces to keep up the entertainment) then I have no faith in the producers.

A new housemate/s have been added to every normal series of Big Brother UK. If you include every series of BBUK, the only series not to include new housemates are:

Yeah new housemates have been added in everyone but some replaced people. If you dont count them then I guess BB4 was the last time as Lisa didnt replace any1
