Allowing housemates to know what is going on outside breaks one of their fundamental rules and enables other housemates to take advantage of seemingly unpopular housemates that are no more than victims of studio audience rent a mob.....

As much as I love the "Get ______ out" chants, I think its great the housemates wont hear them this year.
Big Brother is about no contact with the outside world, if housemates are hearing cheers, boos, and chants they are knowing what the public think of them and it will affect their behavior and their attitudes to other housemates.

i agree with all arguments really.... it does loose a bit of the atmosphere but it lets housemates not have a clue about the outside world which i love because if people know they are liked or hated they change slightly or build on it so this way they have no idea whats going on
