Default the new eviction process what do YOU think??

when davina now talks to the housemates when the crowd is silent, personally i think it takes some of the excitement away.... but then again, it doesnt influence the housemates... i cant decide whether i like it or not, what do you guys think??

It's good it'll be more interesting for the housemates as they have no idea whether the audience likes them or not. BB6 is a prime example all the housemates were up and Maxwell and Saskia got loud cheers this made them cocky which then led to their eviction.

Also when Davina says i'm coming to get you, she actually is

I like how on the live feed they were talking about how they heard people shout "go lisa and mario". It really made no diffrence to the evction show and I am glad the housemates have less of an idea how the puplic feel. I used to love the Bitches getting worked up at the chants though.

Well, it's not exactly a new process. It's not new or a process.

But I do like it. I found it to be more suspenseful. I've always hated the crowd, though.

i didnt like it tbh!
i think one of the most important thing on BBuk is the viewers reaction....which makes the show a big mainstream kinda thing...but taking that away i felt that it was taking away excitements from the show.......
i also thought they did it so the the HMs would not hear the crowd chanting: get alex out. because they want her to stay.....its thats one of the things they do that i dont like...they should just let things go as it is and not trying to fix things

The ideal solution would be for the mob to simply shut up, but that obviously won't be happening any time soon, so I'm OK with the new "format".

I don't get why people are saying it was to hide the "Get Alex Out" chants, specifically. It was so the HMs don't here ANYTHING and have any prior knowledge to their popularity, which is the whole point of BB - NO CONTACT. It's not that hard to understand. No need to go out of your way to create conspiracy theories every ten seconds.

I think it's much better, especially because I think the crowd tends to be really strange. A lot of the time, they don't even tend to reflect what the general public seems to think - or, does it in a much more exaggerated fashion. As a result, housemates may get the wrong impression... and even rectify their actions accordingly. The whole point is that we don't want to see this: they're solely meant to be themselves for the 12 weeks.

i've mixed opinions, i like it cuz it won't influence the HM's to change their behaviour but i wanted sooooooo bad for mario to hear that everyone was booing him just to put him in his place!

It made it boring.

When the 4 names were called out by Davina, they would have clearly heard that Mario had the most boos.
They would then have been amazed as the rest of us that he wasn't evicted (Fix, fix).

They would have also heard that Dale had the most cheers, confirming his popularity to the Housemates.

We would have seen their reaction to the chanting of "Get Alex Out", and would have had the pleasure of seeing the evil bitch squirm.

I don't like it. I want Alex to hear how much she is hated, but it doesn't look like she is going to know until she is outside the house.

I like it.
It adds more suspense and excitement even though some of the atmosphere is lost.
It is a good idea, one major rule of BB is no contact with the outside world, well the producers have been breaking that rule for a while now letting housemates hear the crowd.
