Thankfully the monotony of his voice wasn't reflected in last night's highlights programme as the Serene 16 tried to get their mouths on a good feed and were willing to dress up like extras from a Daft Punk video and endure electric shocks for the pleasure.

Well, most of them: Alexandra cracked, took off the electric shock outfit - rapidly joined by fanclub Sylvia - and we then got the first blubber out of her.

Because of the argument with Rex? I think not. I think the reason was that she couldn't handle the task in front of housemates she so obviously classes as weaker than her. Sure, there was stuff with Rex about the lighter, but let's see what happens the next time Alexandra costs them a task. That's if she lasts past next Friday. And if 'Big Brother' really wants fireworks, put herself and Rex together for something next week.

As for Rex, well, he may try to play it cool, but did anyone notice his constant foot-shaking in the Diary Room last night? There's a man with a lot more jumpiness in him than he's letting on.
