Default is there more than one person going in tonight?
Davina has made a video on bb website and when talking about the new housemate entering tonight she uses the words THEY are waiting to enter tonight..Dont you think its funny that she says they which means more than one.

I think it's just one, like people have said "they" can also be used directly to talk about a single person.
