Default What is the problem with him ?

Has anyone else noticed that when some music is played, people are talking a bit loud or are making noise like in last night HL when most of the housemates were at the dining table playing with glasses and everything, Mikey is always annoyed and always gets his ears blocked ?

What did he expect by coming in there ? Boring land where everyone was quiet and nice ?

i think its because when your blind all your other senses are enhanced, so you'd hear everything much louder.

As a Nurse I work with Blind people. I think that there is an misapprehension that Blind people have enhanced hearing as a result of their blindness.

In my experience Blind people’s senses are no different to sighted people’s, however they do become adept at using their other senses, touch taste smell etc as a way of compensating for their loss of sight and dealing with their daily living skills.
The more these senses are used the more fine tuned they become. I think this is where the assumption that Blind people have more sensitive hearing comes from.

My own feelings about Michael at the moment are that going into the BB House seemed like a good idea at the time but he is finding he is finding the whole experience of other people overwhelming.

This is not the other Housemates fault as they are doing exactly what they should be doing in the house.

Of cause he could just be a miserable git?

I think he just wants everything to be how he likes it and really just cares about his own enjoyment... I think he expects special treatment. Why did he come into BB if he doesn't like the behaviour which it is synonymous for?!

His other senses are better, if I close my eyes for a few minutes my hearing becomes so much better
if he doesn't like to hear loud things then maybe he shouldn't be in there.

Well make that two of us, on day 2 I had £5 on him to win, I thought theres the novelty winner, all hes gotta do is avoid being a miserable git. and I will be £20 richer (yes whoooopeee wow)

Now the best offer I get for my betting slip is street urchins offering to take it off my hands if I buy them 10 fags and a litre of cider

He has such a vast opportunity to gain laffs for cryin out loud,
pretend to walk into the diary room but sit just outside and pretend your are in the room privately, yes start chatting to yourself, spilling gossip (invented) venting your spleen at the imaginary BB official. Till stupid (anyone of em) comes out and finds you sat talking to a door ...the scenario would look hilarious to the other dumbies they'd never think of the unlikley hood of that actually happening but, all you've done is make them the joke, and US!! we could laff to and vote.
Pretend to fall in the pool
pretend to walk into the patio doors
these thoughts are just of the top of my head and Im no comedian who had weeks to prepare for this excersise.

Mikey you're costing me money THINK MAN THINK!!!!
before its to late for me and you or I hate to say this........

perhaps he just is a miserable git
