With nicotine withdrawal taking its toll on Nadia, the feisty female threatened to quit the House when Big Brother refused to provide her with cigarettes.

During a Diary Room conversation she told Big Brother, "I can't cope". She added, "If I'm not having fun I'd rather go... and I'm not having fun without cigarettes."

Despite repeatedly begging for fags and swearing to leave the House if Big Brother didn't cough up the goods, her threats fell on deaf ears.

As she emerged from the Diary Room, she collapsed on Marco's shoulder in tears.

"Are you OK, Nads?" asked Dan as he came into the kitchen. He then proffered one of his few remaining cigarettes suspecting cigarette deprivation was the source of her distress.

It was enough to raise a smile and even one of her trademark cackles from the distraught ex-bookshop manager.

What a drag!


She apologised to the sympathetic pair for her stress and asked, "Could you handle me like this every day?"

"Seeing you in torture every day?" Marco said delightedly as if a plan were forming in his mind.

As Nadia expressed gratitude for Dan's gesture the Hull hairdresser light-heartedly warned, "Just make sure you've got some fags for when YOU'RE nominated."

"I can't believe I come to this level," Nadia sniffed and told Marco how ashamed she was of her temperamental behaviour.

The law student was quick to reassure his chum that cigarettes would be on the way with their weekly shop on Saturday. "That's not so long, is it?" he reassured.

So, only another four days of nicotine withdrawal fuelled tantrums then...
