Default Packing

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

*breathes*

I usually fly on Aer Lingus but my dad booked RyanAer this year for some reason! And they only allow 15kg! On Aer Lingus I get on about 23+ on a 20 limit but they never mind! But RyanAer always mind! And they only allow 1 bag each!

I have 25kg between 1 carry on and 1 suitcase. But I usually pack all my clothes and stuff all my books/DVDs/Shoes elsewhere! And this isn't even counting my laptop! So with 25 kg I need to pack the following:

Tops
Shorts/jeans
Dresses
Shoes
Accesories
Pj's
Toilerties
Laptop
Other(playsuits,waistcota etc)
Dvd's
Basic's-mp3,phone,chargers etc.

My brain is about to explode! I just can't do it! And its for 3 weeks! Stupid fecking stupid RyanAer!!!

[/rant]

So yes,anyone else hate packing?

I love it! I have several lists planned out and printed off for different types of things, e.g clothes, toiletires etc. You should calculate a rough weight, decide on what you probably wont bring back (suncream) and what you will bring home (alcohol!) Im telling you, its the only way to prepare.

Love packing. It's that feeling of excitement that I'm going on holiday! The worst bit is unpacking when you get home!

I quite like packing, I'd never let my mum do it. I like to know where everything is and that I've got everything I want.

I was a couple of kg's over when I went away last year but they seemed to just let my bag through.

Can't you just put some of your stuff in other people's hand luggage? Surely if you've got a little brother he won't be taking too much hand luggage? Then you can get it back on the plane.

I am an organised packer for holidays. I even know the weight of my empty case lol, last year I bought lighter cases to allow me to take more with me. I take what I need and nothing more, I take one bottle of suntan lotion and buy more when I get there along with after sun and throw it away before coming home.

This year I paid a small supplement to allow me a slightly bigger luggage allowance, speak to the airline and see how much increased weight will cost you.

LOL, yep I hate packing
I was told to always pack in order of priority so I once started with passport, shoes errrmmm ect.
When I got to the airport I realised the full embarrasing extent to the flaw in this packing plan was.
After I had dug through half my entire knickers and bra draw I was able to give the very amused passport control guy my documents, the people behind me were not so understanding

Nah my mum and dad have like all full up suitcases and carry-on's. My brother is going to Malaga and coming a week later so I have to fend all by myself!
