I really don't get the logic of some people at times.
Jennifer has been well in the background until the other day and people were wanting her to speak. She gets into an argument of which people think she is on the wrong side and suddenly getting her out has turned more into a witch hunt from some people. I'm not defending what she did in any way but I think its stupid that people make such a judgement on a whole character based on one night and one incident. But something to look at in her favour- Jennifer is an art student so its obvious shes going to take pride in her work. I think she was genuinely upset, [but not in her favour] she did take it a little too far. Also shes being made out to be the villain in all of this when in a way Rex is just as equally to blame. If Rex would have left other peoples stuff alone then the big argument wouldn't have erupted. There has been something brewing between the two teams for quite some time but if he hadn't touched the picture it wouldn't have happened the other night. Just thought I'd say I'm not particularly a Jennifer fan but people are overreacting just a little bit. It was impossible to form a real opinion of her until the other night because she had been featured very little. |

I agree there, although Rex apologised plenty of times yet the situation was blown out of proportion. It magnified into something that allowed everyone to let off steam - it wasn't just about the painting. I feel for Jen in the sense that she probably feels awful since she was at the crux of the argument, when in reality any little trigger could have set the whole thing off.
I think she's disliked mainly for the way she handled the situation - I do think she could have dealt with it a lot better, particularly after the announcement of Dennis' ejection. Her 'justice will be served' comment was bang out of order, and to me anyone who condones spitting in someone's face is not worthy of support. |

In fairness she didn't actually condone him spitting and she even said so to Big Brother. Also the way Rex apologised came across as though he really didn't mean it in the slightest, he was practically laughing in her face. Who would honestly accept an apology from someone who does that? But I agree about the justice will be served comment.

Also, the fact that she said Mo was crying because he was up for eviction was ridiculous as well. She was probably better off keeping her mouth shut, because a lot of things she has said are either contradictory or complete rubbish. |

I think the problem that people have with Jen is firstly the way that she wouldn't let things go after several apologies and her behaviour in the aftermath of the argument. She's come across as being a bit of a hypocrite in my view by slating Mohammed for crying and then having a go at the way Darnell behaved, pretty much glossing over the fact that Dale and Stuart had been aggressive the previous night too.

I agree with you 110%, Tom. Suppose either a housemate is labeled as "boring" or they're hated.

It's the way she was crying and talking with an inflection at the end of everything she said during the Fight Night
![]() And ignoring Rex's apologies. But yeah, I don't hate her as much as Dale/Luke/Stu. |

I just thought the way she acted was clearly attention seeking, she took things way too far. Rex should not have done what he did but apologised on more than one occasion, that should have been it, nothing else he could possibly say to her to change things. Things only got out of control because other HM's got involved and saw the chance to have a go at people they dislike. The Jen/Rex incident was just an excuse for it all to kick off basically.

Another thing is as you said "Jennifer has been well in the background" and people wanted her to speak and when she did this is what we got, an over dramatic display of self centered arrogance! It no wonder people on the site are turning against her even though Rex was well out of order in what he did to her picture. Quote:
It was in her power to accept Rex's original apology but she decided to carry on her childish behavior by making the most of the situation until it blew up in her face. She continued to do this well after the spitting incident, even into the next day when she confronted Darnell as shown on tonights highlights show. She didn't in my opinion take it a little too, in fact she took way way too far and that was the problem. Quote:
However the thing was that her over reaction and the rejection of Rex's apology was the catalyst of that followed. That is why a lot of the blame is being laid at her feet. |

I'm annoyed with her sheer idiocy. She could have ended it when Rex apologised. Yeah she didnt have to stop crying, but she could have accepted Rex's apology, and Dennis would still be there.
Its HER fault, and no one elses. Rex shouldnt have done what he did, but he apologised, (should have been..) end of! |

I could be wrong (doenst happen a lot lol) but it seems like she was fine after Rex apologised but as soon as the guys came in and started giving her attention again she started crying more??? If it wasnt attention seeking then she done a good job of making it seem that way.
At the end of it all it was a painting for gods sake, yeah feelings may have been running high and it may have gotten blown out of all proportion but if she had just stopped being a tit and said - fair enough Rex, you were an ass and you should consider peoples feelings more. Then moved on instead of acting like a wounded puppy to play up to the boys then it wouldnt have gotten out of hand. |

some people are so dumb.
jen knows exactly what she was doing, she knew if she sobbed her badmans would jump in to impress, she knew exactly what she was doing! she aint stupid. sooner we realise it the better, shes pulling the wool over all your eyes, and when she got told dennis had been removed her face made me hate her more. the justice has been served or what ever put the ice on the cake for me, and the way he give mo/darnell the worst dog eyes ive ever seen, what a cow i dont like bex either, her true colors have shown aswell. :| dale and stu, welll they remind me off michelle and her chicken stu. GET TEAM NASTY OUT!!! |

I dont think he was genuinley apologising because i dont think he actually thought he done anything wrong. It was a bit of a war over nothing.

She was an idiot. She overreacted, and made a fuss out of nothing. I believe her popularity on the rise, and because she was the pretty one in the house - she did something wrong and now the public will turn on her. I'm not saying people are jealous of her, but I think because she is pretty people will be harsher on her.
I don't think it's right that people blame Jen. yes, she could have ended it but I think Dale and Stuart made it worse. It became a fight for Jen's affections and a fight to see who could defend Jen the most. I think then, once Mo got involved it was just people arguing because they didn't like him or Rex. I know Jen isn't a nasty person, although her comment about Mo after Dennis got the boot "Well lets hope justice is done" was wrong but she was angry and upset at the time. She showed she can pull herself together and she made the effort to talk to Mohamed. Sadly, she is the next target. I don't think she can pull it around now. |
