I'm having the same problem, maybe it's a forum error. I know there was a server change the other day so maybe that could have resulted in the problem.

no i think theres a problem because i deleted my tinypic URL from the avatrar box this morning about 10 times but it stated there.

The best option is to upload the avatar to tinypic and use the direct link and put that in the avatar url always uploads straight away when i do it that way..

It was a problem caused by the server change. Should be working okay now. If you don't see your new avatar immediately refresh the page (F5 on the keyboard).
