Daniel has once more used his calming influence to make a seething Victor see sense over his feelings towards sparring partner Emma.

The housemate with whom Victor clashed with last night is currently being confined in the Bedsit. But in his newfound guise as House mediator, Dan is clearly worried what might happen if the fiery female returns.

"What if they bring her back in the House?" the hairdresser - who earlier set up a peace-making session between Jason and Nadia - gently interrupted Victor's steaming rant about the Oldham girl.

"Can you see a way forward with you and Emma?" Dan probed, when the answer to his previous question seemed to suggest that the Bedsit brunette's return to the House wouldn't be a welcomed on Victor's part.

"No," came Victor's simple response.

"Even monkeys have more brain power than her," he spat.

But the bespectacled baldie was impressed with Emma's passionate nature. "She would die fighting for what she believes in," he said admiringly.

However, Dan is clearly perturbed and is making it his mission to show Victor that peace could be an option should his arch enemy make a comeback.

Eventually he succeeded and a grudging Victor announced, "If she comes back I'll try and ignore her."

"But I'd just rather she didn't come back," he hurried on.

Come on, guys. Make love, not war...
