Default Long or short hair on guys?

Up until last summer, my hair had been pretty long, some say to the point of unrecognizable.

What's your preference, if any, on this?

(edit, this is not meant to have a poll.)

I was going make a thread about this except with a girls option.
Long hair is good as long as it doesn't go past the eyes

Personally, I liked my hair long but I'm being forced to keep it shorter now.

I think it depends on the individual.. some guys look great with longer hair, but some just look silly.

Short definitely. If it has to be long then not so long that it goes past your eyes and covers ears. That just looks silly.

I prefer guys with a shorter cut, although not to the point of an over grown stubble on a bald head.
Something neat and traditional on a man is both sexy and smart and will always get my full attention

Longish.

As long as it isn't past the shoulders.

Well I've grown my hair, and it's not ridiculously long. It's between my head and my shoulders, so a middle length, and everyone tells me I look much better with it longer. It's good for me because I have big ears so the hair hides it. =D But it really does depend on the person. Some men suit long hair, some don't. What I really don't like is the men with hair down to their elbows, and they always have it tied back and it's all greasy. Yuk! I think if you are going to grow your hair, you need to be prepared to have to take good care of it, because it can be a struggle.

Don't care, long hair is hot, so is short hair.

As someone who recently has experienced both I can say it depends on the shape of your head

I had long-ish dark brown hair and it was cool, but I decided I wanted a chance so I had it all cut off and had spiky, blonde hair. And I really dont like it cos I have a massive head. I'm regrowing it.

If you have a small head, short hair works. But if you have a big head, you cant have short hair it looks ridiculous.

Ok, here is a before and after on my hair. Ok, there is about 19 years between the two and I have filled out a bit. But I think without is better. Not that I have a choice.

With hair.

And fairly obviously, without.

Ive had longish hair... like shoulder length and it did not suit me one bit! im glad its shorter now, i suit short hair, plus long hair gets so greasy so quick... its annoying.
But I think it depends on the person.

My boyfriend has short hair because he's a soldier and he suits it but usually I would go for sort of in the middle, longish with a fringe etc.

I actually love Dale BB's hair though. Mmmm.
