As another night of solitary confinement in the Bedsit looms, Emma has asked Big Brother if she can return to the company of her fellow housemates.

After last night's storming row, Emma was sent back to the Bedsit she'd left just hours earlier, and has been there ever since.

But despite having enjoyed a CD walkman and a bed to herself, another night alone isn't appealing to the Bedsit babe.

She assured Big Brother that she's loved being able to listen to T'Pau, Wet Wet Wet and Belinda Carlisle all day. She even treated Big Brother to a few bars of China In Your Hand down the phone line.

But she'd dearly love to go back to the House nevertheless. She promised to "ignore" Victor and said sorry in her best little girl voice. But her best reason for returning to the House was a desperate need of toilet paper.

Loo roll withstanding, Big Brother expressed concerns that last night's business was still too raw. But Emma insisted that it was all in the past.

"I'm perfectly fine. [If I go back in there] I'll leave it, brush it under the carpet, make the peace," she promised.

"I'm willing to forget about it," she continued when Big Brother made no response. "I won't even raise my voice. I'm going to be cool as a cucumber."

"Pleeeeeeeeeeeeease, Big Brother."
