If you could send me a U2U then that would be great, it's easier if I have all of the applicants on record. We've had quite a few spin-off applications so far. Good luck Callum!

Is this gonna be based off the american version? If so that would be fun as they have themes and stuff!

It's going to be a mixture of Pop Idol/American Idol/X Factor if that makes sense. I haven't got the new format quite finished yet.

I used to record it with that when I did series 1. I just quickly pressed the red button once it hit a minute and it started recording longer.

You could download Audacity?
It's what I use to record myself.

Ive been like recording a few songs too see what style and songs sound best,

but i keep getting like feedback off my microphone.. its built in my laptop.. and when I go louder, or when I say a 'p' or a 'c' or something.. it like makes a stupid, loud, irratating noise!

Apart from singing quietly and no pronouncing any strong letters, is there anyway of stopping it?

Thanks x

Another reminder that presenter applications close on FRIDAY at 9pm. Any applications made after the closing time will not be considered. The new spin-off presenter will then be revealed shortly after.

Presenter application process has now closed, thanks to everyone who applied. I will reveal the new presenter shortly. Remember, you can still audition to be a contestant!
