BIG BROTHER blonde Shell Jubin is in for a shock when she leaves the house her long-term boyfriend will ask her to marry him.

Friends claim her childhood sweetheart Scott Hutcheson will propose as soon as they are reunited.

The good news comes after the 21year-old, from Selkirk, endured a terrifying night in the house last Wednesday as fellow contestants came to blows during a series of arguments.

Friday's eviction show was cancelled as a result of the bust-up and last night's live challenge scrapped. Live footage of the housemates was shown instead.

Shell's partner Scott, 22, who has kept a low profile since she entered the show, graduated from the Glasgow School of Art on Friday with a degree in Visual Communications.

A fellow student said:'They have been together for years and have spoken about marriage many times.

'They are a lovely couple and now that Scott has graduated, he feels it is time to make an honest woman of her.'

The couple, who have been dating for almost five years, met when they attended Selkirk High School together.

They both left the Borders town to study in Glasgow and live just one street apart in the city's west end.

Scott, who lives with his brother Neil, has been top of his art class for the last four years.

A friend said: 'This has been the most important period of Scott's life so far and although he wishes Shell could have shared it, he respects the fact she wanted to be on Big Brother. 'He knows he has a good catch and I am sure they will make a great married couple.

'Both have their feet firmly on the ground and, as they say,absence makes the heart grow fonder.' While her boyfriend has been slaving away, bubbly art history student Shell has been winning fans by stripping off.

On her second day, she cooked dinner wearing only an apron and last week she mowed the lawn naked.

But pals say Scott is not embarrassed by her frequent nude exploits.

One said: 'Scott is extremely pleased Shell is doing so well on the show. They are very much in love. All his friends are rooting for her.'

Shell seems just as desperate to see Scott she has told fellow housemates she is sexually frustrated.

POLICE last night told Big Brother producers they would be taking no action over Wednesday's brawl.

Members of the public had complained. But after discussions with Channel 4 and Endemol, police said they were happy with steps taken to ensure contestants' safety.

Emma is set to be booted out after Wednesday's brawl with Victor, when they threatened to kill each other, forcing security guards to enter the house.

She was dragged into the bedsit for her own safety and has been there since.

Last night, a show insider, said: 'We are thinking of letting Emma go. Her and Victor's behaviour was unacceptable. We gave them an official warning.'

Vanessa and Daniel were nominated to be voted off but had a reprieve when Friday's eviction show was cancelled.

South African Vanessa celebrated by getting frisky with Scot Jason. The couple got close in the bedroom before having a cheeky fumble in the bathroom.
